Course Name: Level 2 in Health & Safety in the Workplace

Course Duration: Approx 3.5 hrs Delivery: Online in the form of audio-visual interactive animation  Assessment: Multiple choice and can be accessed once the whole course has been completed  Certificate: Available to print once the assessment has been passed. Pass rate 67% in each module.  Course content audited by independent Environmental Health Officers. 

Module 1 – Health and Safety Basics: What is health & safety?, responsibilities, law basics, health & safety policy. 

Module 2 – Health and Safety Advantages: Costs and benefits, a healthy safe workplace. 

Module 3 – Health and Safety in Practice: Workplace risk assessment, types of accidents, accident reporting and first aid.

Module 4 – Hazards, Accidents and Accident Prevention: Most common hazards, types of accidents, prevention of accidents, controlling hazards, reducing risk. 

Module 5 – H&S: Kitchen 

Module 6 – H&S: Office/Reception  

Module 7 – H&S: Housekeeping

Module 8 – H&S: Maintenance
